The Intellectual Property Enterprise Court has proved very successful for users of all sizes. In a letter sent to The Master of Rolls and the Chancellor of the High Court on 14th August, the BCC urges that any proposed reform of the appeal routes from the County Court should ensure that final judgements of IPEC continue to go to the Court of Appeal. The BCC considers that any change to this would be a retrograde steps and highly detrimental to IPEC and its position as a forum of choice for individuals and SMEs in intellectual property disputes.
