Happy World Intellectual Property Day 2018!

April 26 is World Intellectual Property Day, celebrating the important role of IP in encouraging creativity across the globe. Copyright is a form of intellectual property that automatically protects original literary, musical, dramatic, artistic and other creative works and productions. To find out more about copyright, please explore the British Copyright Council website, including our handy one-page guide here.

The special theme of World IP Day 2018 is “Women in Creativity and Innovation”, and the BCC is delighted that its honorary president, poet and writer Maureen Duffy, is featured among the “Women Powering Change”.
