With great sadness, the BCC notes the passing of Frances Lowe.
Frances put an amazing amount of enthusiasm and interest into everything she did but with her keen intellect and capacity for analysis she made the results look effortless. In her many roles, including that of BCC Director, Frances worked tirelessly on behalf of all those involved in the creation and performance of creative work and was committed to a strong and balanced copyright system. She was a great believer in co-operation and collaboration between the creative sectors.
Frances was a personal friend and mentor to many of us at the BCC and was an example to us all. We will all miss her deeply.
