The WIPO/BCC Training Course
The WIPO/BCC Training Course in Copyright and Related Rights is a practical course intended mainly for senior officials, in ministries and other organisations, from developing countries. This two week training course is organised by the British Copyright Council on behalf of the WIPO Worldwide Academy and in association with IPO and UK copyright industries.
The 2011 Course will be the nineteenth organised by the British Copyright Council.
The programme is being developed with an emphasis on the legal and practical aspects of copyright and related rights and it is hoped that it will contribute to the development and better understanding of copyright in developing countries.
The Course is offered as part of the WIPO Worldwide Academy’s Professional Development Programme more details of which can be found at www.wipo.int. Candidates for the training course should complete the Distance Learning Course (DL-101) offered by the WIPO Worldwide Academy and pass the examination.
