Independent Code Review
The Independent Code Review process has been superseded by the CRM Directive Regulations which are now in force.
The British Copyright Council's Working Group on Principles of Good Practice for CMOs was formed in May 2010 and was responsible for developing a policy framework, entitled The BCC Principles for Collective Management Organisations' Codes of Conduct, endorsed by the full BCC in May 2012. The Principles are part of a self-regulatory process which included the Independent Code Review. The results of the review were published in 2014 in the final Report.
